Overlay's background music does not play at the beginning of the first start

I put background music as overlay at the beginning of the video editor, but it doesn’t play. And apart from Break, I wish background sound could play. And I wish I could play multiple sounds overlay at once.

If I add one more, I think it would be more convenient if the UI was changed to make break and overlap look distinct in the timeline.

Hello, yes this is due to the policy restrictions requiring user interaction before audio can be played (ad networks requirements). Because of this this first overlay starts before first click, so its not played.

What you need to do is following:

1. you can delete the permanenet overlay

2. add music to the first break

3. add repeat and turn off “stop on resume”

See attachment also. With this setup the music will start playing after the first click.

Alternatively if you dont want to add music in breaks, you can use video that already contains some music, this will be played as soon as user does first interaction.

Alternatively you can still use permanent overlay, just dont put it at 0ms (otherwise video can load before sound and wont play) - we will be doing some fixes and improvements for this behavior.

Thank you for your answer, I will follow the guide.
