Music Cut Off on Break Resume Despite Setting Disabled

Hi all! We’re having an issue with our recent Playable Maker items uploaded to META.

The problem: Music stops playing after a Break resumes, even though we have “Stop on Video Resume” disabled. Previously, we worked around this by adding the music to a permanent overlay that started just after the first interaction. As long as we maintained that overlay, the music kept playing. However, it seems Facebook now also stops this overlay music when the next Break occurs… and that’s where we’re stuck. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

Sidenote: It would be great if there were an option to have music load on interaction for the first Break. Currently, if music is loaded before the first interaction (while muted), it never loads. That’s why the overlay method was our workaround for this, too.

Hey guys, it is a bit of a neverending sound issue because of browser/adnetwork limitations of playing sound only after first interaction, and sometimes between interactions there is so little time that some of them are skipped.

But thanks to your example we think we found a permanent fix, we will work on it next days and update you when released.

Workaround was implemented today, there will be another fix in comming weeks. For your use case it should already work. Kindly let us know on hello@playablemaker.com which projects/builds were affected and we will rebuild them for you.
